I’m a photographer and graphic designer based just outside of Inverness on the beautiful Black Isle. I have always had a huge love for animals, the outdoors and I was always snapping photographs since a very young age. I specialise in wildlife, outdoor and pet portraits, as well as offering wildlife/outdoor photo tours around The Scottish Highlands and guiding for others.
I started photography (with a DLSR) just over 13 years ago, that began as a hobby, then it slowly developed as a career alongside my graphics work about 5 years ago. I love spending time outdoors as much as possible and I have a huge passion for creating images that reflect the animal in it’s natural environment comfortable and happy. A few years ago I started taking pet portraits for people, and this has developed into another area of photography I offer. To me it’s very important to get to know the client and deliver the perfect portraits of there special four legged friends. As with myself having dogs and always have had them, they are a huge part of my life and a important family member. So this allows me to create and deliver natural, unique portraits that will give you timeless reminders of your loved ones.
Apart from photography, I have huge love for craft and design. A few years back, I started a small online business called ‘Wildwatcher Collections’ that sold a range of items from greetings cards, notebooks, scarves and snoods to t-shirts - which was all wildlife and outdoor themed. The last few years that side was put on hold due to other circumstances, but I am now working on a new project that is under a new name and I am working on designs and ideas currently, and I plan to have it to up and running live from around March 2018 - for news of this, follow my Facebook page (search Wildwatcher Eve), Instagram wildwatcher_eve or my Twitter account @wildwatcher_eve for updates.
When I’m not working or creating, I am usually still outside either enjoying the coastlines we have around here or up in mountains hiking with my other half and my two crazy Collies Skye and Luna (..not to forget the latest editions, Jura and Whinnie the rabbits!).
